Report: Pastrnak snubs Bruins ahead of training camp
Keystone Press

The Boston Bruins have been working all summer to get a deal done with star player David Pastnrak, but with the forward coming off a big 70-point season the two sides have been unable to find common ground as far as the finances are concerned.

Following a rumored meeting between GM Don Sweeney and agent JP Barry last week, there was talks that Pastrnak had also had fairly serious offers from teams in the KHL.

Now, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston has confirmed that Pastrnak will miss the start of training camp and that he remains in Czech Republic while he awaits an outcome with the Bruins.

Camp opens tomorrow in Boston...

In 75 games with the Bruins, Pastrnak recorded 34 goals and 70 points. Time has run out to prevent his absence from camp.
