Report: Penguins put their enforcer on waivers after ugly loss.

The Penguins were destroyed by the Washington Capitals on Wednesday night and it appears they have responded by making some roster adjustments.

A report from Tim Wharnsby of the CBC has revealed that the Penguins have placed veteran tough guy Tom Sestito on the waiver wire for the second time already this season, this after he picked up 10 penalty minutes in under 5 minutes of ice time.

Sestito cleared waivers the first time around, and it seems unlikely that any team will be clamoring for the opportunity to claim him after his performance against Washington. It's expected he will report to the American Hockey League's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, and considering how much of a liability he was on Wednesday night it may be a while before he gets called back up to the Penguins National Hockey League roster.

Sestito has appeared in 8 games for the Penguins this season and has just one point compared to his 21 penalty minutes over those games.
