Report: Pettersson still out, Boeser questionable
Zuma Press

According to a report from Vancouver Canucks insider Dan Murphy of Sportsnet, the Canucks will not have rookie Elias Pettersson in the lineup for tonight’s game against the Vegas Golden Knights. Even worse it looks like sniper Brock Boeser may miss some action with a groin injury, as well.

No Petterson for canucks tonight and Boeser is questionable. Markstrom starts.

Pettersson, of course, has been out of the lineup for over a week and there’s no exact timetable for his return. He has resumed skating with the team in practice and is expected to make his return sometime this week.

Boeser was notably absent from practice yesterday morning as he deals with a groin injury sustained in last Thursday’s loss to the Winnipeg Jets. It’s expected that he’ll be a game time decision for head coach Travis Green tonight.

In the meantime, the team has called up Darren Archibald from the AHL’s Utica Comets should Boeser not be healthy enough to go tonight night or Thursday night.
