The Philadelphia Flyers continue to lose forwards to injury.

With several guys already out, including Michael Del Zotta, Michael Raffl and Scott Laughton, the Flyers revealed on Tuesday that they have lost even more depth with Boyd Gordon suffering an undisclosed upper-body injury.

According to an official report from the Flyers website, general manager Ron Hextall has announced that Gordon will miss a minimum of one week as a result of his injury, and while Gordon isn't a star player by any stretch, his loss is a big one.
Gordon plays important minutes on the penalty kill, and is the Flyers top faceoff man in terms of winning percentage, while eating up roughly eight and a half minutes of ice time per game.

We don't expect the Flyers to announce any more details regarding his injury.
