Report: Puljujarvi seen leaving Oilers dressing room “carrying a bunch of hockey sticks”

According to a report from Edmonton Oilers insider Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal, Oilers forward Jesse Puljujarvi was seen leaving Rogers Place this morning “carrying a bunch of hockey sticks.”

What this means isn’t exactly clear? Is Puljujarvi leaving the team? If so, has he been traded? Accepting assignment to the AHL?

Here we go… let the speculation begin.

UPDATE:

TSN 1290’s Jason Gregor has confirmed that Puljujarvi will undergo an MRI to diagnose a lower body injury.

It would seem then that Puljujarvi is out long term and a trade and/or AHL demotion seem unlikely.
