Eight players have been sent down to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League: forwards Ryan Groop, Malte Stromwall and Adam Tambellini, defensemen Alexei Bereglazov, John Gilmour and Vince Pedrie as well as goaltenders Alexandar Georgiev and Chris Nell.

Ryan Groop, a second round pick (41th overall) in 2015 will begin his pro career, after showing strong offensive numbers with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League. In 258 games, he registered 254 points.

Tambellini, 22, will begin his third season within the Rangers organisation. He was drafted in the third round (65th overall) back in 2013. In two seasons in the American Hockey League, he registered 67 points in 142 games.

Bereglazov, 23, will play his first season in North America, after he played four seasons with Magnitogorsk Metallurg of the KHL.
