Report: Rookie forward expected to play 10th game, will remain in the NHL.

While it hasn't been made official, it looks like Keith Tkachuk's baby boy is now a bonafide National Hockey League forward.

According to a report from Sportsnet's Pat Steinberg, the Flames appear to have Tkachuk in their line up for his tenth game of the season, and according to NHL rules that would burn off the first year of his entry-level contract. Of course with the first year gone of his ELC, it's likely safe to assume he will remain with the NHL Flames for the remainder of the regular season.

Steinberg did not receive official confirmation from the Flames organization for this report, but rather had the chance to sneak a look at the Flames line combinations in San Jose this evening, line cominations that have Tkachuk listed as a skater.
