Report: Sabres prospect on FIRE!

Casey Mittelstadt, Buffalo Sabres first-round pick in 2017, has already a huge impact in the NCAA. The eight overall pick in 2017, who is currently playing with the University of Minnesota, has already seven points in seven games played. 

The Eden Prairie, Minnesota native registered 30 points in 24 games last season with the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL. It will be interesting to see if Mittelstadt will be selected to represent the United States in this year World Junior Hockey Championship. 

Buffalo Sabres General Manager Jason Botterill and his crew will keep a close look on his development, and maybe they'll convince him to begin his pro career a little bit earlier.
