The start of the upcoming season is only weeks away, and more important dates have been revealed for the National Hockey League calendar. And fans will want to circle out this one date.

The very anticipated Trade Deadline will be held on Monday, February 26th, this season, earlier than usual.

Teams' general managers might feel under the gun to get deals done, and to determine if they are buyers or sellers this time around. Last season, several clubs waited out until the last minute to decide what to do on the market, seeing that the competition was tight for a playoff spot.

It will be interested to see who gets thrown on the trade block, and who will have to wait out for the summer to see what will happen to them.
