Report: Scouts from eight teams at the Avalanche game as many except them to sell off players.

The fact that the Colorado Avalanche are sellers, big time sellers in fact, is no longer a secret but there are still a great many questions about which organizations will make big moves to acquire their top tier talent before the March 1st trade deadline.

On Wednesday night we may have been granted a bit of a look behind the scenes as The Fourth Period's Dennis Bernstein spotted non-regular scouts from at least eight National Hockey League organizations at the match up between the aforementioned Avalanche and Los Angeles Kings.

The list includes some extremely interesting names and while it is certainly speculative it seems likely that these will be among the big players at the trade deadline.

Here are the teams who had non-regular scouts on hand according to Bernstein.

The Montreal Canadiens.

The Edmonton Oilers

The Nashville Predators

The Columbus Blue Jackets

The Boston Bruins

The New Jersey Devils

The Vancouver Canucks

The Detroit Red Wings

The Tampa Bay Lightning

We've had multiple trades in the past few days as well as significant movement on the waiver wire and with such a heavy scouting presence to watch a team expected to sell prior to the deadline it seems like there may be a number of moves on the horizon.
