A bad case of Cup hangover and we expect more from the champs...

The Pittsburgh Penguins are already done with two of their 82 games this season, and unfortunalety for them, they do not go in the W column. Worse, the Pens were annihilated by the Chicago Blackhawks, who won 10-1 last night.

And the is a lot of blame going around the defending champions' locker room: defenseman Kris Letang took some personal responsibility for the loss, apologizing to goalies Antti Niemi and Matt Murray.

"I would say I'm sorry." Letang said, according to Sam Kasan of the Penguins' website. "They deserve better than that."

Head coach Mike Sullivan was undoubtedly embarrassed by the loss, along with captain Sidney Crosby, who was at a loss for words...

On Wednesday night, after lifting the Cup banner, the Pens gave up five goals to the St. Louis Blues... so it has become  evident the reigning champs are not playing like themselves to open the season and suffer from a bad case of Cup hangover.

Let's hope their speech changes and they can focus on the positive and win!
