Just when players were finally healthy...

The Minnesota Wild may have to do without the services of defenseman Jared Spurgeon as he has fallen ill today and had to leave practice early.

The Wild called up Ryan Murphy from the AHL on an emergency basis and are having him rushed to Winnipeg to take on the Jets in case Spurgeon cant play.

He will be a game-time decision.

After a tumultuous start to the season that saw the Wild lose several key players to injury, Zach Parise is the only player left on injured reserve - and the Wild hope that they can count on their players to stay healthy from here on out.

The Wild (11-9-3) are one point out of a playoff spot and hope to make their way back into the wild card race with a win over the Jets tonight.
