The Dallas Stars' disappointing season hit another low Friday. Stars forward Tyler Seguin didn't skate with the team after arriving late for one of the final practices of the season. Head coach Lindy Ruff said the club will deal with it internally. Seguin will sit the final game of the season out due to discipline. Seguin is only one goal off of his career high, but he won't get the chance to surpass the mark this season, as he is officially listed as a healthy scratch. Seguin described the punishment as "Something I'm going to have to live with in the off-season." His teammate Jamie Benn probably is not very pleased by the news as he is attempting to become the first Dallas Star in history to win the Art Ross Trophy. His chances just took a hit with Seguin scratched. Dallas has been eliminated from playoff contention as they sit seven points back of the Winnipeg Jets for the eighth and final spot in the Western Conference. The Stars close out the season when they host the Nashville Predators on Saturday. Seguin leads the team with 37 goals and ranks second with 77 points despite missing 10 games. Heck of a way to end the year.
