Report: Team will be forced to forfeit games after reports of antisemitism from players

Genuine concern or the PC police gone too far?

It's hard to tell if this is a case of genuine concern for a player or yet another example of the PC police going to far.

Officials who over see both Keefe Regional Technical School and Marian High School in Framingham have made the decision to cancel the entire season for the boys hockey team after there were reports of players making antisemitic remarks towards another player.

The problem here is the two conflicting versions of this story, the school is presenting this as deliberate and intentional hate, while the players themselves see it as merely boys joking around in the locker room.

It's hard to tell which side is accurate here as we have not heard from the boy who was reportedly the target of these remarks, a letter from the school describe it as “a pattern of locker room activity in which the players admitted to participating in these types of comments and actions in what they described as ‘joking around,’” as per the Boston Globe.

We certainly hope that this wasn't a case of someone being offended at what was genuinely meant to be fun among young boys, because it would be terrible to see their season completely wiped out for such a reason.
