(WFLA) The Tampa Bay Lightning announced that defenseman Victor Hedman will miss at least one week then be re-evaluated for an upper body injury. Hedman was sent into the boards Friday during the Lightning's game against the Vegas Golden Knights by forward Ryan Reaves and left immediately. While  a concussion was not officially the diagnosis, Hedman did the boards with his shoulder and head. He does have a history with concussions.
Hedman suffered a mild concussion in a game against the Ottawa Senators during the 2009, then missed 13 games in 2011/12 after a hit in a game against the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Norris trophy winner will miss at least Saturday's game against the Arizona Coyotes, then games at home against the New Jersey Devils and Nashville Predators.
