It appears the Bruins will be losing one of their goaltenders to the KHL. According to a report out of Russia, Bruins goaltender Niklas Svedberg has signed a one-year deal in the KHL with Salavat. Svedberg played in 18 games this season for Boston and the 25-year-old had a 7-5-1 record to go along with a 2.33 G.A.A. and a .918 save percentage. The Swedish native is a Restricted Free-Agent and decided to bolt to Russia. Looks like Tuukka Raask will be getting some extra work in, unless the Bruins deem Malcolm Subban ready for the backup role.
