Report: The Pittsburgh Penguins opening day roster.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are set to kick off the 2017-2018 National Hockey League season and they will do so with one of the most talented rosters in the entire NHL this evening. 

The big names from the Penguins Stanley Cup run are all returning, and the Penguins will have the added benefit of having a returning Kris Letang in the line up after a major injury cut last season short for him.

Defenseman Benoit Pouliot is absent from the list due to the fact that he was traded to Vancouver earlier this week, and also noteworthy is the fact that the man he was traded for, Andrey Pedan, is also absent from the line up.
