Report: Veteran goaltender wants NHL comeback, six teams interested.

Late last week it was announced that former National Hockey League veteran Ilya Bryzgalov is hoping to make a return to the NHL in a goaltending role.

At the time the statement seemed a little ridiculous, however according to a report fromRussian news outlet TASS, Bryzgalov's agent has informed them that at least six NHL teams are currently interested in acquiring him.

Assuming that Bryzgalov's agent is telling the truth and not merely posturing, the sheer number of interested team would appear to indicate that he's willing to return in a backup role, and for very little guaranteed money as well.

If there is a team seriously considering bringing him back as a starter we would question their decision making.
