Vegas Golden Knights head coach Gerard Gallant confirmed that defenseman Brad Hunt will be out of the lineup tonight to face the Carolina Hurricanes. Shea Theodore will be taking his spot.

Hunt was signed as a free agent by the Golden Knights last summer. He played 17 games so far this season, registering seven points. In 50 games played in the NHL with the Edmonton Oilers, the St.Louis Blues, the Nashville Predators and the Golden Knights, the 29-year old defenseman produced 16 points.

The Golden Knights are currently second in the Pacific Division with a record of 19-9-1.
