REPORT: Veteran Player Injury Update

This week Marian Hossa has been one of the hottest topics in NHL news due to the fact that he scored his 500th career goal last Tuesday battling it out against the Philadelphia Flyer for a memorable 7-4 win for the Chicago Blackhawks.

Unfortunately during that very same game Hossa sustained a lower body injury which has kept him out of the mix since Tuesday. Blackhawks fans and players were hoping Hossa could hit the ice during yesterday's match against the Columbus Blue Jackets but instead were told this week it would more likely be Saturday versus the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Today we have to wait and see what will happen with Hossa for tonight's game but it seems that it is also unlikely that he will be able to join his team on the ice for tonights game.
