Report: Western conference team willing to trade “every player on their roster”
KeyStone Press

It's been no secret which team has been the worst in the NHL this season. On track to have an even worse season than the Colorado Avalanche had last year, the Arizona Coyotes look to be ready to do a complete overhaul of their roster.

Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports that the Coyotes "are willing to talk about pretty much every player on their roster."

They acquired Derek Stepan and Niklas Hjalmarsson last summer in the hopes that with the wealth of young talent they have in Arizona, that they'd finally be a competitive team. Well, with one regulation win and 11 points in 22 games this season, they fell way short of expectations.

This is an organization that features names such as Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Clayton KellerDylan Strome, the aforementioned Stepan and Hjalmarsson, as well as other intriguing names.

It seems unlikely that they'd trade Keller, seeing as he is shaping up to be the next big (little) thing in the NHL. The rookie leads the team in points with 18 in only 22 games.

Ekman-Larsson is the biggest trade chip today - and while general manager John Chayka has stated that he does not intend on trading him, teams have been calling. This could be very well end up like the Subban - Weber trade - we all know what Bergevin said about not 'shopping' P.K..

In any case - it seems like Chayka and the Coyotes are gearing up for a fire sale, and there will be many teams lining up for some big deals.
