Report: What is going on with Riley Sheahan?
Keystone Press

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Riley Sheahan is certainly not playing the way they were expecting him to do when they acquired him from the Detroit Red Wings earlier this year. In 19 games played with the back-to-back Stanley Cup champions so far, Sheahan scored one goal and added six assists for a total of seven points. Before being traded away from Detroit, he didn't register a points in eight games.

The Penguins acquired him from Detroit with a fifth round pick in 2018 for Scott Wilson and a third round pick in 2018.

Drafted 21st overall by the Wings in  2010, the St.Catharines, Ontario native started to struggle last season, as he only produced 13 points in 80 games.

In 311 games played in the NHL with Detroit and Pittsburgh, Sheahan registered 105 points. He added four points in 17 playoff games.

What do you think, Penguins fans? Should Jim Rutherford try to trade him again?
