Report: Yamamoto has already made history

Many people are ecstatic and surprised to see that Kailer Yamamoto has made the Edmonton Oilers opening night roster. Oilers nation has already fallen in love with the 2017 NHL first rounder and I am sure he will be a keystone piece to Oilers for many years to come. Yamamoto in one case has already made history and it is a pretty interesting stat!

Yamamoto is the shortest first round NHL draft pick ever! At 5'8 this has already allowed him to make history. His size is clearly not an issue out there. Clearly the kid can play and Oilers fans believe he plays like his is 6 feet tall! We can't wait to him in action this season. Even if he ends up getting sent back down to junior, Yamamoto made a statement this year and clearly him being "Short" was not stopping him.
