Star defenseman Duncan Keith of the Chicago Blackhawks had to sit out during the World Cup of Hockey 2016 and missed 4 preseason games due to an operation on his right knee from a torn meniscus.

Last night marked his debut match vs the Detroit Red Wings and it was clear that his knee injury would not be an issue for the team in the regular season.  Keith played 19:41 showing no signs of hesitation by getting his body in the right position and moving smoothly along the ice.

He was on the ice during 3 goals and assisted on 2 of them, leaving all insecurity about his injury to rest before the regular season kicks off.
