Roberto Luongo reaches a BIG milestone!

It was a night for milestones during the Florida Panthers win tonight.

After Jaromir Jagr tied Mark Messier for second on the all time points list, Roberto Luongo picked up his 447th win when the Panthers won in the shootout. Luongo tied Terry Sawchuk for 5th all time in wins. He now only needs a few more wins to tie Curtis Joseph for 4th all time in wins. 

Luongo was drafted by the New York Islanders but was then moved to the Florida Panthers where he quickly set many team records. He was then traded to the Vancouver Canucks where he had most of his success. He was then traded back to the Panthers from the Canucks and has been a key part in Florida's success the past seasons.

If Luongo is able to play a few more seasons and have continued success, he might even be able to pass Ed Belfour for 3rd in career wins. Belfour had 484 wins.
