Earlier today former NBC analyst and NHL superstar Jeremy Roenick took to social media to share the news that his former employer (NBC) will NOT be bringing him back into the fold for NHL broadcasts.

Roenick, of course, was put on a leave of absence by the company after he shared some personal stories concerning colleague Kathryn Tappen on the Spittin’ Chiclets podcast. Now, whether you’re a JR fan or not, it’s clear that he overstepped some professional boundaries by sharing those stories but… was his intent to embarrass or humiliate Tappen? Clearly not, it was just a case of JR sharing some laughs.

In any case, NBC has decided that JR is out and out for good and… well JR ain’t happy about it.

Check it out:

JR is fired up!

Honestly, I’ve never been a huge fan of JR as a broadcaster. But, there’s definitely a place for him in the game and I hope he lands on his feet and gets back to doing what he loves in short order.
