Roope Hintz signs a big time, $9 million+ deal!

This just in, the Dallas Stars have announced that they've re-signed 23 year old Finnish winger Roope Hintz to a three year deal worth over $9 million total.

Hintz's new deal comes with a $3.15 million annual cap hit. 

The 6 foot, 3 inch, 220 pound power forward finished second on the Stars in goals this past season with a stellar 19 goal campaign. He put up 33 points total in 60 games during the 2019-20 season. He led Dallas with two shorthanded goals, ranked second with five game-winning goals and shared fifth with three power play goals, while he was the only Stars skater to finish with multiple power play, game-winning and shorthanded goals in 2019-20. Hintz also skated in 25 games during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, recording 13 points (2-11=13).
