Veteran with 1493 games played with the Sharks on his way out? 

The UFA season is approaching very rapidly and a few high-profile players will be available. On the top of the list sit two veterans who’ve played together for their entire career. 

One of them, Patrick Marleau, is reportedly receiving tons of calls. Marleau is the same age as Thornton. Although he’s been a bit less productive than Thornton in the last few seasons, he’s still a very valid choice for teams looking to add experience in the locker room for a Playoff push.
