RUMOR: Alex Galchenyuk wants out of Montreal!

Could Alex Galchenyuk be on his way out of Montreal?

According to TSN insider Darren Dreger, he could very well leave the Canadiens in the near future. Not only have some teams already inquired about his services but he also believes the 23 year old former 1st round pick would like to hit the reset button and start from scratch... likely elsewhere.

During the show That's Hockey, Dreger added that Galchenyuk does not seem to have a specific role in Montreal as team management does not trust him at center and he does not seem to be good enough to play wing on their top-6 for the moment.

Now back on the fourth line, it is no wonder he'd like to see his icetime increase, whether it's in Montreal or not.
