Rumor: Blackhawks reportedly looking to add another NHL star to their roster.

The Chicago Blackhawks are looking to add a big piece to their already impressive roster.

There is now a report from Bleacher Report's Adrian Dater that claims the Blackhawks are currently looking at the prospect of bringing Colorado Avalanche forward Jarome Iginla, a player many have believed will be moved before the National Hockey League's trade deadline from the Avalanche to a contender.

Dater stated that the Blackhawks are "considering Iginla as Hossa replacement." Of course this raises the question of why Marian Hossa is being replaced? Is he on his way out of Chicago as part of this deal or in a different deal altogether?

Iginla is one of the most experienced veterans in the NHL at the moment, and there's no doubt that bringing him on, even in a depth role, would bolster any organizations playoff hopes.
