Rumor: Bruins urgently looking to fill void on trade market!
KeyStone Press

This is no secret: the Boston Bruins keep losing players to injuries, since the start of the season, notably up front. David Backes is out long term while David Krecji and Ryan Spooner are also injured.

Then the worst took place when star forward Brad Marchand got injured, and fans never know what might happen to poor Patrice Bergeron, who always seems to suffer a gut-wrenching ailment during the season...

Now, according to NHL insider Pierre LeBrun, Bruins management is looking to at the market to see what’s out there in terms of a top-nine forward. Sources have noted that GM Don Sweenet wants to find a fit and the right price on the market, but the matter seems more and more pressing.

Forward Matt Beleskey, who has disappointed this season, has been mentioned as a potential trade bait for the Bruins. If Boston can get better offensive help by putting him on the block, we might see a trade coming up soon in Beantown.

However, teams like the Anaheim Ducks, New York Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets are also said to be shopping for a top forward. Competition is on!
