We have a very interesting report from Kevin Paul Dupont of the Boston Globe.

As most Bruins fans will know, as things stand now it appears that the Bruins and restricted free agent Ryan Spooner will be headed to arbitration to settle the contract dispute between the two sides. What most fans don't know however is how that outcome may impact the future of a completely unrelated Bruins' forward.

According to Dupont, should Spooner's salary be set by the arbitration process, the Bruins would have access to another buyout window and that could mean the end of forward Matt Beleskey's tenure with the Bruins.

Dupont believes Beleskey "could be vunerable" despite the fact that a buyout of his contract would cost the Bruins $1.22 million against the cap for the next six National Hockey League seasons.

Currently Beleskey is under contract for three more seasons at a cap hit of $3,800,000 per season, and he also has a modified no-trade clause that would complicate any attempts to move him.
