The Las Vegas Golden Knights may be starting to round out their coaching staff.

While there has not yet been an official report from the Golden Knights, TSN hockey insider Darren Dreger is now reporting that veteran hockey executive Mike Kelly is expected to join head coach Gerard Gallant behind the Golden Knights bench as an assistant coach.

Kelly's only National Hockey League experience comes as an assistant coach with the Vancouver Canucks in 2007 and 2008, however he has since gone on to become a head coach and general manager in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

During his tenure in the QMJHL Kelly lead his team to 50 consecutive regular season wins and was named general manager of the year in the 2010-2011 season.
