The Jets have had a goalie problem for a while now and now that only Hutchinson remains, some fresh blood can be sent to the roster. According to rumors, the solution might come true Brian Elliott.
The now UFA goalie had a 2.5M$ contract and did a very decent job in St.-Louis for a while before being traded to Calgary. The Playoffs didn't go according to plan but he's now ready to begin anew under the sun. Winnipeg could certainly use his service to stabilize the situation between the pipes and help the younger players progress.
