Insider adds MAJOR update to Jarome Iginla's rumor.

As reported on HF yesterday, the veteran National Hockey League star has just bought a $4.5 million dollar home in Chesnut Hill, leading to speculation that he may be leaning towards a return with the Bruins next season.

Jarome Iginla was traded from the Colorado Avalanches to the L.A. Kings on the trade deadline. Iginla is a unrestricted free agent comes July first.

“The time that Iginla and his family spent in Boston, they loved it. They loved it,,” said Dreger. “And my understanding is that it’s a very selfish decision for family reasons. There’s no tie to the Boston Bruins. Perhaps the Bruins expressed some interest in him."

“He’s going to train this off-season as if he’s going to play this year. But if Boston or any team in the NHL offers him a one-year, $750,000 deal, he’s not playing. If somebody offers him a one-year, $2 million deal – well, maybe that gives him food for thought and he considers it."
