Rumor: Lightning may scratch two players for Game 2.

It sounds like the Tampa Bay Lightning are looking to make at least one change tonight, although I must admit nothing is official yet and likely won't be until moments before the puck drops.

There are a lot of question marks regarding what the Lightning roster will look like tonight after a few interesting developments today during practice. This morning as the Lightning took to the ice for what was reportedly an optional skate, they were once again joined by captain Steven Stamkos which now marks the second time he has skated with his team during preparation for the Stanley Cup Final.

There has been no indication though that Stamkos will return tonight and if anything the fact that he stayed out late on the ice would appear to indicate that he will be among the health scratches tonight. Interestingly enough Stamkos was not the only Lightning player to remain out on the ice for some extra time as he was joined by Lightning defenseman Zach Bogosian. Bogosian has actually done a good job of quickly growing on many of the Lightning faithful and the reaction to his potential scratch this evening has provoked something of a reaction on social media.

Keep in mind that there is no official announcement regarding either man being scratched tonight, this is just speculation based on the fact that they stayed out on the ice later than their teammates which usually indicates a pending scratch. Rumor suggests that it will be Luke Schenn that will draw into the lineup in the place of Bogosian, but once again this has not been officially confirmed by either the Lightning or Lightning head coach Jon Cooper.
