Rumor : Most coveted UFA about to sign deal.

The UFA open market only opens in a bit more than a month, but there is still plenty of action to report. Player attaining the unrestricted status comes July 1st will sometimes fall into oblivion or attract immense attention and sign huge deals with former or new teams. 

This is exactly the case with TJ Oshie, who played with the Caps last season and is set to become free this year. Apparently, he liked Washington enough to stay there. 

By ''all but done'', it's meant the new contract with the Caps is about to be inked. No details have filtered yet for obvious reasons but we can expect Oshie to run to the bank with this one. His 4.175M$ contract was a huge deal for the Caps, but following a dominant season, Oshie will expect more. 

With so many stars in the lineup, the Caps will have plenty of numbers to crunch in the years to come.
