Rumor: NHL enforcer expected to announce his retirement tomorrow.

One of the most loyal enforcers in the game is expected to announce his retirement. 

TSN's Steve Lloyd has just shared a media advisory from the Ottawa Senators that indicates the team will hold a special press conference on Thursday and it's the names of the attendees that is getting all the attention.

Among those at the press conference will be Senators general manager Pierre Dorion, no surprise there, but joining him will be long-time Senators enforcer Chris Neil.

Lloyd is reporting that this "looks like Chris Neil will be retiring tomorrow," and that does seem like a reasonable conclusion on his part considering Neil has not played a single game for the Sens this season. 

Of course, considering how the team has performed as of late, there might be a fan or two wondering if putting Neil back in at this point might not be an improvement.
