A struggling National Hockey League franchise may be about to make a huge change in net.

While there have been rumors that the Buffalo Sabres are currently taking calls regarding trades for both their starting goaltender Robin Lehner and backup goaltender Chad Johson, the names of the teams involved had not been revealed until now.

TSN's Shawn Simpson has just reported that we should all be on the lookout for a trade that will send Lehner to the Philadelphia Flyers although what the return would be for Buffalo is currently unclear.

While Lehner is Buffalo's #1 goaltender, his contract will expire at the end of the season so his value will be diminished as only a rental player. The Flyers were on a massive losing streak prior to beating the Calgary Flames this week, and this would certainly be a way for general manager Ron Hextall to shake things up in his locker room.
