NHL Team reportedly looking to add FC manager as their new head coach?

The Vancouver Canucks and head coach Willie Desjardins have had a tough season. With Desjardins three-year contract expiring this off-season, it was a no brainer he would be back next season. Desjardins confirmed he won’t be back with the Canucks next season lately. Vancouver is reportedly looking to add FC manager as their new head coach.

He was head coach of the Edmonton Oilers during the 2012–13 seasons. In 2014, Krueger shifted from hockey to the world of association football, to become director of English Premier League team Southampton. On March 12, 2014, Krueger was appointed the chairman of Southampton F.C.

Elliotte Friedman tweeted the rumor late last night as he mentioned, “Hearing VAN interested in Ralph Krueger, who excelled with World Cup Team Europe. But, is there any desire to leave Southampton FC?

Mark Spector, TSN insiders had some kind word regarding Krueger qualifying him as a “Smart, smart guy. Vancouver would be a better hockey town if this went down.”
