Rumor: One of the top picks in the draft has failed to make his team.

It's a rough start for one of the top picks in the National Hockey League Entry Draft.

According to a report from Stephane Leroux of RDS Pierre-Luc Dubois, the number three overall pick in the draft, will be sent back down to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in the next few days, however there are conflicting reports.

In fact on RDS website they state that Dubois remains with the Blue Jackets and have made no mention of Leroux's report despite the fact that he works for their network.

Leroux is usually a reliable source, and he claims this came to him from multiple different sources making his claim even more believable, but the fact that his own employer seems to be hedging their bets do lead us to classify this merely as a rumor for the time being.

More to come.
