Rumor: The Golden Knights have made a trade with the Wild.

Over the course of the last week or so a number of team's have been connected to trade rumors surround the Las Vegas Golden Knights, although conspicuous by their absence were the Minnesota Wild.

As one of the team's most at risk of losing a quality player, almost certainly a defenseman, it seemed a natural fit for the Wild to reach out to the Golden Knights in an effort to prevent exactly that, and while there were no rumors, they may have done exactly that. 

TSN insider Bob McKenzie is not reporting that the Wild have orchestrated a trade with the Golden Knights, one that will guarantee Las Vegas does not pick Matt Dumba or Marco Scandella.

McKenzie reports that the Wild are expected to give up a prospect in this deal, although no word yet on the identity of that prospect.
