RUMOR: Unsigned RFA In Talks With Another Team

It appears as though the Tampa Bay Lightning’s Nikita Kucherov might be garnering quite a bit of attention.

The 23-year-old right wing remains unsigned as a restricted free agent, and Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.ca is reporting that Kucherov’s agent Scott Greenspun hinted at having met with a team that is ready to make a very aggressive offer for the forward.

Friedman also mentions that there is always the possibility of joining the KHL, as is often the case with Russian players. 

Meanwhile, contract negotiations between Kucherov's camp and the Lightning are nevertheless ongoing while the former stays in his native country.
