Rumor: Veteran of over 750 games may be playing his final NHL game this week-end.

While it's not official, there are rumblings that 24-year-old National Hockey League veteran defenseman Zbynek Michalek may be playing in his final game as an Arizona Coyote, and furthermore may be playing in his final game in the NHL period.

Veteran Coyotes reporter Craig Morgan of AZ Sports isn't prone to hyperbole and he openly speculated that this could in fact be the end of the road for Michalek who has appeared in over 750 NHL games during his incredible career.

Playing in over 750 National Hockey League games is a major accomplishment by any metric, but it's especially impressive when it's done by a player who initially went undrafted.

As it stands Michalek has 783 games under his belt and has recorded 42 goals and 136 assists for a total of 178 career NHL points, although he will have a chance to add to those totals on Saturday.
