Rumored trade between the Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins.

Another quick hit from the floor of the 2016 National Hockey League Entry Draft.

According to a report from the Boston Herald's Steve Conroy the Boston Bruins are currently negotiating with the Chicago Blackhawks in an effort to acquire forward Andrew Shaw.

Earlier today reports surfaced that Shaw's contract demands, which where reportedly for an average annual value of $4.5 million, had prompted Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman to explore a trade, so he's likely available.

However according to Conroy the asking price from Chicago is high, Boston's 29th overall pick in the draft, and Boston as of yet has not taken the offer.

More to come.
