Radim Vrbata is on the verge of inking a one-year deal in the National Hockey League.
According to multiple sources, the unrestricted free agent is set to make a return to the Arizona Coyotes after spending the last two seasons with the Vancouver Canucks.
The 35-year-old failed to impress potential suitors with a dip in his offensive production last season, posting 13 goals in 63 games. In his first year with the Canucks, he managed 31 goals and 63 points in 79 games.
Vrbata spent five seasons with the Coyotes between 2009-2014, playing in 352 regular season games and adding 232 points to his name. In 27 playoff games in Arizona, he managed 14 points while notching 4 in 6 games with the Canucks.
