Tomas Fleischmann impressed the Montreal Canadiens’ brass in 2015’s offseason. He had signed a professional tryout and ended up being a pleasant surprise, netting 10 goals in 57 games and was subsequently traded to the Chicago Blackhawks along with Dale Weise in exchange for Phillip Danault and a second-round draft pick.
While his tenure in Chicago was short-lived and unremarkable, The Score reports that his agent is claiming that up to 8 different teams have offered “The Flash” a PTO.
There’s no official word yet on which franchises are interested in his services, but he’ll certainly have a lot to prove if he hopes to prolong his career as a depth scorer.
