Ryan Johansen: 'I wish I was still a Blue Jacket.'

Recently traded forward Ryan Johansen just made some comments that will likely raise quite a few eyebrows around the National Hockey League.

Johansen really spoke to Blue Jackets insider Aaron Portzline of The Columbus Dispatch, a man he likely has spoken to several times during his career, and he really seemed to open up about his feelings on being traded to the Nashville Predators.

"I wish I was still a Blue Jacket," said Johansen as per the Columbus Dispatch.

"Let me make sure I’m wording this the right way. (pauses) I wish we didn’t start the season 0-8. I wish we were in the playoffs. I wish we had a great year. I wish we were all still together. But that’s professional sports. It happens, and when a team struggles there are trades."

This is certainly not something the Predators will be happy to hear, that the player they just acquired, at a very heavy price, would rather be back with his old team. Likewise the comments will probably come off as confusing to the Blue Jackets and their fan base, as there always seemed to be issues between Johansen and the team.
