Ryan Reaves gives hilarious post game interview after another early season goal.

When the Las Vegas Golden Knights brought veteran National Hockey League enforcer Ryan Reaves into the fold of their organization the expectation was that he would fill his usual role and protect the organizations more elite players. In fact at the time Las Vegas Golden Knights general manager George McPhee was quoted as saying that Reaves was the kind of player that kept the flies off of the honey.

What the Golden Knights could not have expected however was that Reaves would become a much more dynamic offensive player in their team than he has been with his previous NHL squads. Reaves' newfound goal scoring ability first emerged during the Golden Knights shocking run to the Stanley Cup Final, a run that quickly made Reaves a fan favorite in the city and one that arguably played a major factor in him getting a new contract the following summer.

Reaves has continued to fill his role as the organizations enforcer but one again this season he has continued to produce on the score sheet as well, in fact he has done more so than some of the organizations other players who have largely under performed thus far. Interestingly enough Reaves was asked about that very quote from McPhee, the one regarding the honey and the flies, and he produced an absolutely hilarious response much to the delight of the media members in attendance.

That was a hilarious moment to be sure, but Reaves was not done cracking jokes at his own expense. Without being prompted to do so Reaves took some shots at his post goal celebration the evening and in fact he had a message for the Golden Knights' fan base regarding that very celly. Reaves apparently was not too pleased with himself and admitted that he had put very little thought into his goal celebration, stating that he usually does not expect to be putting in so many so early in the season. He not only poked some fun at himself but he also issued a public apology to his fans and vowed that he would put more work into his next goal celebration.

I must say I'm very much looking forward to see what he comes up with next.
