Sean Couturier is on FIRE!

Philadelphia Flyers forward Sean Couturier is already recognized for his strong defensive game, and he proved over the years that he can bring some offense as well. Since the start of the 2017-2018 season, the 23-year-old forward is showing that he may be on his way for the best offensive season of his career.

The eight overall pick in 2011 has scored nine goals and registered 15 total points in 12 games played so far. At this pace, Couturier would conclude the season with over 60 goals and 102 total points. His two best season so far were in 2013-2014 and 2015-2016, when he registered 39 points. The more goals he scored in a single season is 15 in 2014-2015.

Sean Couturier was drafted eight overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2011. In 428 career games, he registered 206 points. He added four points in 19 playoff games. He is currently in the second season of his six years/$4.3 million per season contract. 

Yes, he will probably slow down at some point this season, but let's say he's a pleasant surprise so far!
